de algunos campos de estudio que precisan de acceso a laboratorios. Para la mayoría del cuerpo dicente fue una
oportunidad de aprender sistemas más exibles como el Blended Learning, sistemas híbridos y conceptos clave
como la generación de momentos sincrónicos y asincrónicos de aprendizaje (Marinoni et al., 2020, p. 26).
El capítulo actual no se centra en el aspecto metodológico en sí ni en la pertinencia de unas metodologías
sobre otras, aunque podemos partir de una necesidad general en el sistema universitario del fomento de meto-
dologías activas en detrimento de las pasivas sin suponer en esa transición necesariamente la eliminación total
de las últimas. En la Universidad UTE hemos analizado el uso e implementación de diferentes metodologías
didácticas, concretamente el Aula invertida, el Aprendizaje basado en problemas, la Gamicación educativa, el
Aprendizaje cooperativo, el Aprendizaje basado en competencias y la Clase magistral. Tanto el cuerpo docente
como el alumnado podía seleccionar varias de estas metodologías, de tal manera que debemos tener en cuenta el
factor recuerdo, especialmente en el alumnado, para analizar el cruce de resultados.
Las metodologías más utilizadas han sido el ABP (Aprendizaje basado en proyectos) y la Clase magistral, me-
todologías implementadas por casi el 70% del profesorado encuestado. El ABP ha sido una metodología activa
impulsada en nuestra Facultad a través de formación docente, acompañamiento y seguimiento, especialmente
en la carrera de Derecho, por lo que podemos demostrar el alto grado de implementación que hemos alcanzado.
Con respecto a la metodología magistral deberíamos señalar la importancia en nuestras carreras de un tipo de-
nominado Clase magistral propiamente tal o experta que debemos incentivar al tratarse fundamentalmente de
expertos y reconocidos especialistas en temas particulares que, a pesar de ser una clase pasiva, presenta alta valora-
ción y, a la vez, diferenciarla de la Clase magistral meramente expositiva (Elgueta y Palma, 2014), esta última sería
la metodología menos recomendable o solo aplicable a momentos temporales. Sin embargo, la percepción del
alumnado ha privilegiado el ABP por encima del resto de metodologías que formaban parte del cuestionario con
un porcentaje que supera el 57%, con ello encontramos una clara correspondencia en ese sentido. Por otro lado,
la Metodología magistral solo fue señalada por una cifra inferior al 37%, por lo que podríamos plantearnos dicha
respuesta como la percepción por parte del alumnado de un cambio metodológico importante que ha apostado
por las metodologías activas en detrimento de la Clase magistral.
En un segundo nivel y desde la perspectiva docente se encuentra el Aula invertida como metodología didácti-
ca, la cual poco menos del 59% del cuerpo docente reconoce usar. Se trata de una metodología fundamental en
el contexto pandémico, pues permite un correcto uso de los tiempos asincrónicos y un mayor aprovechamiento
de las sesiones sincrónicas. La disparidad con las respuestas del alumnado — del cual solo poco más del 33%
reconoce el uso de la metodología— podría estar relacionado con un desconocimiento parcial del nombre o a
qué se reere exactamente la misma.
El resto de las metodologías tratadas, Aprendizaje cooperativo, Gamicación educativa y Aprendizaje basa-
do en competencias son usadas por menos de la mitad del cuerpo docente, concretamente por poco menos del
48% la primera, poco menos del 44% la Gamicación y sobre el 39% la última. En el estudio encontramos una
correspondencia con respecto al uso del Aprendizaje cooperativo, del cual el 50% del alumnado considera que se
ha aplicado. Sin embargo, existe una importante disparidad frente a la utilización de la Gamicación educativa y
el Aprendizaje basado en competencias, pues solo algo más del 12% del alumnado recuerda haber desarrollado la
Gamicación en sus clases. En ese sentido, podemos sacar dos conclusiones, es evidente que aun habiéndose uti-
lizado por parte del cuerpo docente ha sido insuciente desde la perspectiva de la comunidad de estudiantes, el
factor de recuerdo ha fallado al haber ocupado quizá un tiempo limitado dentro de la generalidad de la materia.
Desde la perspectiva del Aprendizaje basado en competencias, los indicadores nos muestran que debemos seguir
potenciándolo de manera activa, pues se trata de una metodología transversal que debería estar presente en todas
las materias de manera permanente.
Además de las metodologías y de su grado de pertinencia debemos tener en cuenta la necesaria adaptación
tecnológica para el profesorado y alumnado, los recursos de hardware y soware necesarios, además de la necesa-
ria conectividad y capacidad de uso de las herramientas. Muchos autores han señalado las desigualdades que ha
supuesto la pandemia para colectivos con bajos recursos, tanto para la adquisición de dispositivos como para el
acceso estable a Internet (Echeita, 2020; Moreno, 2020). Otros han añadido un elemento clave, las brechas iden-
ticadas en el acceso que implica tener los dispositivos necesarios y la conexión; la brecha de uso relacionada con
el tiempo disponible y calidad de los mismos; y la brecha escolar y de competencias que implica las habilidades
del profesorado, recursos didácticos y adecuación de las plataformas online (Zubillaga y Cortázar, 2020). A esas
