EL ESTUDIO DE LA SALUD EN EL TRABAJO EN EL ECUADOR

Abstract

Study of worker health and security needs an appropriate reference frame. This is not only about overcoming causality or just mentioning it; it is necessary to discuss about the context in which the study is developed and the different levels of analysis before coming to the company and after having defined the objective of this study. It is also considered necessary to use, at least a description of national reality and its insertion in international markets, as well as get some national rates back that will permit arrange any work, no matter how specific or limited it is. 

Following the same line of study, on the basis of bibliography and previous experience, some categories are proposed, and above all, it is also discussed the importance of organizing work as a general variable, from which it is suggested to analyze conditions and work environment. This logical thinking should include inscription and articulation of the performance study; this study could be based on its determinants, as a link of association between accident rate effects and worker health.
