BORDER CITIES: Exploring Urban Identities and Dynamics
Eídos journal invites researchers, academics, and professionals to submit their articles for its upcoming special edition on "Border Cities: Exploring Urban Identities and Dynamics."
Description: Border cities are spaces where diverse cultures, economies, and social dynamics converge, making them unique and fascinating urban environments. This theme seeks to explore urban development in border areas and its impact on local identity, as well as the complexities that arise in the planning and management of these cities.
Authors are encouraged to submit original articles addressing, among others, the following topics:
- Urban development in border areas and its influence on local identity.
- Migration and cultural diversity in border cities.
- Cross-border infrastructures and their impact on urban connectivity.
- Conflicts and collaborations in cross-border urban planning.
- Urban security and border management in border urban areas.
- Urban economy and cross-border trade in border cities.
- Environmental challenges and resilience in border urban areas.
Articles will be peer-reviewed following an anonymous review process, and those meeting the standards of quality and academic relevance will be selected for publication.
Instructions for Authors: Interested authors should submit their original articles through the journal's online submission system. Articles should follow the style and formatting guidelines provided on the journal's website. Scientific articles with a maximum length of 7,000 words will be accepted.
