About the Journal

The Journal Economía y Negocios [Economics and Business] is a six-monthly publication linket to the Faculty of Law, Administrative and Social Sciences of the UTE University. The purpose of Economía y Negocios is to disseminate scientific works, of a theoretical or empirical nature, that contribute to contrast, extend or build theories that allow progress in the understanding of the phenomena related to economic and business sciences, from the perspectives of economics, strategic administration, management of human talent, marketing, quality, logistics and supply chain, production and operations, organizational behavior, accounting and finance, leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship, among other topics, both in the national and international context. Therefore, it aims to contribute to training competent professionals through research.

A deep analysis of experiential marketing and its influence on purchasing decisions in the gastronomic sector. The dynamics that create memorable experiences for consumers and how these can foster loyalty and consumption are explored.

An exhaustive review of new trends in auditing is also included, highlighting how innovation is transforming this discipline. The most recent advances and their practical implications in the modern business environment are addressed.

The relationship between supervisory boards and the disclosure of corporate social responsibility is examined through a meta-analysis. This research sheds light on best practices in corporate governance and the challenges companies face in being transparent and responsible.

Economía y Negocios, scientific journal of the UTE University, publishes results of scientific research in the area of economic and business sciences since 2009 without interruption, with a semiannual periodicity since 2014. Scientific research in management is based on theories developed from various social sciences. Economía y Negocios is open to publish articles that, from sociology, psychology, economic and business sciences and industrial organization, contribute to the scientific development of the administration in the national and international context.
The journal Economía y Negocios, is aimed at national and international academics and researchers, professionals, students and the scientific community in general, interested in the different fields of knowledge related in the focus and scope.
